The Baldwin piano Company is another American piano company. In 1890 Mr. Baldwin determined to build the best piano possible. Though there have been several twists and turns the Baldwin piano company has been producing great pianos since then.
The company won its first major award in 1900, when their model 112 won the Grand Prix at the Exposition Universelle in Paris, the first American manufactured piano to win such an award.
Currently the Baldwin piano Company is owned by the Gibson guitar company.the company currently manufactures pianos under the following names: Baldwin, Chickering, Wurlitzer, Hamilton, and Howard names.
